About
A native of Vancouver, Washington, Briley began dancing at the age of four, immersing herself in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance. Her passion led her to discover Pilates during her teenage years, recognizing its transformative potential as a cross-training tool to enhance body awareness, power, and strength.
Briley began her professional dance career with Atlanta Ballet from 2010-2012, Nevada Ballet Theatre and Ballet Tucson following. However, her quest for growth and artistic exploration led her back to Portland in 2015, where she now thrives as a member of push/FOLD, pushing the boundaries of dance and performance.
Transitioning from full-time dancing, Briley delved into teaching STOTT Pilates in 2016. Drawing from her rich background in dance and athleticism, she guides her clients towards heightened body awareness, imparting more efficient movement patterns. She firmly believes in the holistic benefits of Pilates, advocating for its ability to foster a profound mind-body connection that can transfer into all aspects of life.
Briley's teaching approach is marked by creative imagery and tactile cueing, encouraging her clients to delve inward and unlock their potential. With a clientele spanning diverse ages and backgrounds, her focus remains steadfast on promoting overall health and wellness, facilitating athletic training, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
