What do I need to participate in Online Pilates Classes?

A desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device and the ZOOM app
Note: Laptop or mobile device on a tripod have been the easiest to adjust camera angles for best viewing access
Please download the app before your first class:

How do I join the class?
​
You will receive an email with a link to join the class. Once you click the link, the meeting should open automatically if the ZOOM app is installed.

How do I mute/unmute myself?
​
There is a microphone/speaker icon on the toolbar. A red slash will be over the icon when the microphone is off. Click icon to remove the red slash and turn your microphone on.

How do I turn off my video?
​
There is a video camera icon on the toolbar. A red slash will be over the icon when your video is off. Click icon to remove the red slash and turn your video on.

How do I modify the app so I only see the instructor and not the other participants?
​
Zoom automatically allows you to see whomever is currently speaking. However, you can disable active speaker view and only view a specific speaker.

I don't have any props, can I still take the class?
​
If you don't have a mat, use a towel!
If you don't have hand weights, canned foods work just fine!
If you don't have kneeling pads or head pads, you can use pillows, blankets or towels!
